Dear August

This series was painted at the end of summer 2024 encompassing memories of time well spent. These paintings depict a collection of summery floral colours from my friend Tabby's wonderful garden combined with the impression of sunlit glints on sea water, warm evenings spent with old and new friends, and of course family, all washed over with the turquoise tones of summer seas. A good memory for us to hold onto in UK climates where good weather fades but WILL return and so will our gorgeous summer blooms.
